My name is Tara Lawrence, and I'm an interior designer based in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada.
I'm a teacher turned designer. For many years, I worked in design as a side hustle, until 2022, when I decided to take the plunge and turn my passion into my own business.
My husband and I have tackled countless renovations in our homes over the years, making us some of the original DIYers. We have a real passion for old homes and the process of bringing them back to life while respecting what makes them special. Over the years, we've loved the opportunity to improve the homes we've lived in and, in our own small way, contribute to and elevate the community we call home.
I believe the best spaces are the ones that tell your story. I love incorporating current trends, trying something unexpected, and encouraging my clients to take a few risks along the way. But the goal is never to create a space that simply looks like everyone else's.
My job is to get to know you and to understand what you love, what matters to you, and how you want your home to feel. From there, I curate the colours, furnishings, textures, and details that bring the vision together. Sometimes that means knowing what to keep, what to let go of, and where to take a risk. The result is a home that feels considered, collected and uniquely yours.
When we're finished, I want you to walk into your home and feel like it could only belong to you. Not cookie-cutter. Not something that could have been generated by AI. Your home, thoughtfully designed, with all the little details that make it distinctly you.
It's about More Than Design.
