Small Spaces Can Still Be BEAUTIFUL!

This tiny, one bedroom apartment that is under 500 sq ft may be incredibly small but it is also incredibly beautiful and honestly quite perfect for the lucky lady who landed this rental.
And yes, I sound bias because not only did I design this space but my husband (and me when I felt like it) renovated it and oh, a long list of volunteers as well including our 70 year old parents. (My dad is having fit reading this because he is not 70 yet.) But wow the people who stepped up to help us get this place renovated was amazing. And it was not without its challenges.

I mean...every renovation, and at this point we have done MANY, comes with some serious challenges. I think its actually really important that clients know that I have been there and I know that sometimes a renovation can push you to the limit and you think...IS IT WORTH IT? Really? Convince me.
Well, this renovation...this tiny apartment took my husband and that small army of people, nearly (actually over) a year to complete. When he wasn't volunteering to do some other project, work a full job, or taking a moment's break he was down at this little apartment working his tail off. I jumped in those last few weeks to put the push on.
I mean...he needed me right? Needed me to boss him around and make sure he was doing everything right??? But truly, it was a huge time commitment and there is an argument to be made that he would have saved money if he were to just hire the whole thing out. I mean...the rent for a year probably could cover the majority of hiring someone right? Sure that is a reasonable argument but now he gets to say that it's all him (and a little bit me) and that makes us super proud of this tiny one bedroom apartment.
